Institute for World Economics and Politics (IWEP) under The Foundation Of The President Of The Republic Of Kazakhstan.  IWEP carries out research activities in the following areas: global problems and their impact on Kazakhstan and other economies in transition; analysis and forecasting of the global economic dynamics and social and political processes; study of international, regional and national security; study the political, economic, social and legal issues in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan’s position in the world community; economic, political and social processes in the Central Asian states, Russia, China, US, EU, Japan and other countries; international political studies; international comparisons.

The National Analytical Center

The National Analytical Center designed to serve as a provider of operational intelligence and quality of advisory services on various aspects of public policy. The Center's mission is to conduct applied social and economic research relevant to Kazakhstan and other countries, on the basis of academic and expert resources.
