Russian has become the seventh language of the interface of World's Premier database of research publications and patents, which uses by more than 7 thousands of organizations around the World. The Russian-speaking parts of the scientific community currently has the opportunity to search the databases of Thomson Reuters flagship solutions in the field of scientific research in their native languages.
Moscow, Russia, November 12, 2015 – members of the unit Intellectual Property and Science of Thomson Reuters company, the leading provider of intellectual information for businesses and professionals, today announced the launch of a database of scientific publications and patents of Web of Science in Russian.
Russian has become the seventh language (after English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese and Japanese), on which the Platform is now available. This innovation will improve the quality of service users from CIS countries.
More than 7,000 researchers and scientists in more than 120 countries regularly use the platform of the Web of Science to access the main international databases of citation of scientific research to conduct their own research. Among them – tens of thousands of researchers in over than 300 companies in Russia (including educational institutions, scientific and research institutes and public authorities), as well as more than 300 organizations from the Republic of Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
