Dear readers,
On February 15, 2025, the presentation of the personal library of the prominent folklorist and Turkologist E. D. Tursynov took place at the library of the Almaty Management University. As part of the event, the "Dala İlimi" scientific Turkish seminar was organized. The event was held in collaboration with Almaty Management University, the university library, the "Aspandau" scientific and educational foundation, the "Adyrna" national ethnographic association, and the "Zholshy" philosophical society.
The moderator of the event was PhD, chairman of the "Zholshy" philosophical society, Nurzhan Kulymazhanov.
At the event, public figure, founder and president of Almaty Management University, Doctor of Business Administration, Kozhakhmetov Asylbek Bazarbaiuly delivered a welcoming speech. The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was carried out by Kozhakhmetov Asylbek Bazarbaiuly and Sembin Marat Kataiuly.
The performance of traditional singer Sanat Isayev also left a special impression on the participants.
Within the framework of the "Dala İlimi" Turkish Seminar, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Marat Sembin, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Turkologist, Zhyrshi, and Translator Kairat Zhanabaev, Doctor of Philosophy, Cultural Studies, Professor of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory Almira Nauryzbaeva, and President of the "Aspandau" Scientific and Educational Foundation, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Kazakhtelecom" JSC Arnur Nurkatov gave speeches.
