From 13.10.2024 to 10.11.2024, AlmaU Open Library held a digital literacy course for pensioners, "On a first-name basis with a smartphone"! This course is designed specifically for older people who want to improve their skills in using a smartphone and the Internet. The course will be held in Russian. Classes will be held twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. The course program includes: Basics of working with a smartphone - how to effectively use the operating system and basic programs. The Internet for beginners - how to safely and effectively search for information, use email and social networks. Mobile applications - the basics of working with applications of banks, government agencies, online stores, ticket purchasing services and other discount platforms. And much more!
After the last lesson, a Kahoot quiz was held, prepared based on the material of the lessons. Participants who answered the quiz questions as quickly and correctly as possible were awarded branded prizes from AlmaU. In addition, participants received certificates for successfully completing the digital literacy course. The pensioners expressed their gratitude to the course organizers with warm words.
