Books as a gift

                                                                       Dear Readers!

        Recently the library received books from Laila Seysembekovna Akhmetova as a gift.

      L.S. Akhmetova is a well-known Kazakhstani historian, academician and public figure, the author of more than seven hundred articles, brochures, books on the history of Kazakhstan, imageology, conflict management, public relations, journalism, gender and trade unions.

       Laila Seisembekovna has:

       Academic degree - Professor of Political Science

       Academic title - Doctor of Historical Sciences

                                            Awards and Prizes: - Order "Kurmet", medal "10 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", medal "10 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan", medal "25 years of independence of the Republic of   Kazakhstan"                            

The books received as a gift are dedicated to Zhumabay Shayakhmetov, a prominent party and statesman, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan (1946 - 1954). Laila Akhmetova is a co-author of one of the books “Zhumabay Shayakhmetov and his time”.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

            The library also has other books by L.S. Akhmetova.
